1. Corrosion resistance

Compared with other metal materials, aluminium profile has low density and good corrosion resistance. Good corrosion resistance can be found in air, water (or brine), Petroleum Chemistry and many chemical systems, which is one of the main reasons for the wide application of aluminum profiles.

2. Conductivity

Aluminum profiles are used in electrical appliances manufacturing industry because they have excellent conductivity. On the basis of equal weight, the conductivity of aluminum is nearly twice that of copper. Therefore, they are very popular in electrical appliances manufacturing industry.

3. Thermal Conductivity

The thermal conductivity of aluminium profiles is about 50-60% of that of copper, which is beneficial to the manufacture of heat exchangers, evaporators, heating appliances, cooking utensils, as well as the cylinder heads and radiators of automobiles.

4. Non-ferromagnetism

Aluminum profiles are non-ferromagnetic, which is very important for the electrical appliance manufacturing industry.

5. Flame Retardant

Aluminum profiles cannot spontaneously ignite, which is necessary for applications involving handling or contacting inflammable and explosive materials.

6. Formability

Formability refers to the specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility and corresponding work hardening rate which control the change of allowable deformation. Compared with other metal materials, aluminum profiles have better formability and are easier to be made into the shapes needed by all walks of life.

7. Recyclability

Aluminum profiles have very high recyclability, and the characteristics of recycled aluminium are almost the same as that of primary aluminium.
